About MIKE:

Once upon a waveless midday dreary, MIKE had the unfortunate experience of getting completely WORKED skating in the local skate park, and injured his back—had surgery—and was out of the water for a gruelingly long time.  With his mental health in fast decline from the lack of salt water, he decided that something had to be done in order for him to keep in touch with his lifelong passion of surfing.  Alas, enter BeachNuts, his comic creation to combat the effects of his horrid land-locked depression.  (Note: Please don’t feel sorry for Mike and his  self-inflicted gimpiness: He’s just a hapless kook.)

Besides scribbling out a few comic strips, MIKE also likes to dabble with surf photography, lawn bowling, internet porn and sleeping.

He can still be found duck diving craptastic close-outs and hitting the sandy bottom at his favorite hometown breaks. You can contact Mike at:
